using av connection at the back of my tv is it possible to find a cable to fit in those connections then to my iPod so i can play music off my iPod to my tv? I have a mini van with a dvd player and av connections if that would be possible? if so where do i buy these, and could the apple av connections work? thanks alot.

Answer
Well I have the Apple iPod AV cable and an iPod Video, I suppose it must allow you to play music, truthfully I have never tried. This Quote from the Apple site may help you,

"The AV Cable connects to the headphone port of the iPod or the line-out port on the iPod Universal Dock. Perfect for viewing videos and slideshows from the iPod or connect it to a stereo no matter where you take it. Your television must have RCA video and audio input jacks."

Hope this helped!

How do I play a Panasonic Mini DV Video Casette?

Marty M

My instructor took a video of me at football camp on a Panasonic Mini DV Video Casette and I want to play it at home. It says 73.8m, I don't know what that means. Do I need to buy an adaptor for my VHS player? I have a VHS player and a DVD player.

Answer
There is no adaptor for minidv to VHS, minidv is dgital and VHS is analog.
You will either need a minidv camcorder or send the tape off to some one who does video transfer or borrow someone's minidv camcorder. If you can borrow a camcorder, you will need a firewire card installed in your computer and a firewire cord to download the video. You will capture the video, edit it and then burn it to a DVD and then you can watch it in any DVD player.
