hi i know you can play on a wii on a portable dvd player by going on av output but my portable dvd player is a argos value one and i can not find out how to play on the wii on it please can any one help me ? thanks

First: Do you have a Portable DVD player with an AV IN or OUT or BOTH on it? if u do, follow this.

First you'll need to buy an AV adapter at any electronics store Best Buy, Radio shack ETC. it should have the Three AV Inputs on it.Red, White, & Yellow. with a headphone input stub looking-thing, at the end of the cable. plug the little nub into the DVD players AV IN or OUT input outlets and ur good to go. They are pretty uncommon and usually come with a DVD player with such outlets on it, good luck.~~James

My laptop does not have an optical drive (DVD or CD-ROM). If I can buy an external DVD drive that also is a DVD player with LCD screen, I will be able to kill two birds with one stone. Of course, it would not be economically sensible if such a device costs more than a DVD-ROM and DVD player combined.

No,You have to buy one,i recommend a HP USB CD DRIVE!
