I want to take movies from my JVC DV camcorder, burn them to a dvd to view on dvd player,software suggestions?

1) Copy DV files to your PC (it will be large DV AVI files, 1 hour is about 14 GigaBytes)
2) Use Cam Video Tool 4 DVD Flick to encode video (as interlaced)

Go to google and search avs dvd player free download.
It is freeware and it never expires. I have it and it works great.
