coz I also know that
or
an alternative player

thanks

Answer
You do not want an alternative player. Why not. Windows Media Player sucks and I could go on a trip around the world when I was given a dollar for everytime somebody had trouble with wmp. You have to download all kind of codecs etc and then you still can't be sure. Leave wmp alone as soon as possible and make your live easy.
I will recommend an alternative player anyway.. Gomplayer. It is free and plays all file types, audio, dvd's without having to download anything.
Go to preferences -- Others -- select All File Types and Codecs.
As a nice bonus you can make nice pictures (screen captures) of the video (DVD) you are watching.
Right click on player for menu then Control Panel (F7). Click on CP or hit F7. Now youl can make screen captures.
It is up to you whether to keep on struggling with wmp or download Gomplayer
