I had a folder with 7k+ jpegs on it on a CD-R, but my DVD player would only play 648 of them. I had to buy more disc, and put them in smaller folders, but I would REALLY like to know if there's a set amount of jpegs that the DVD player can play?

I really need help with this, please

I have a dual RCA DVD player set made for the car. Once booted up, both screens display a fixed full screen bit map (GIF, JPEG, etc.) image of two dogs. I would like to change this image. Is this possible or are the bit map's imbedded into the DVD players bios?

In most cases, yes the images are embedded in player firmware.

You need tools to disassemble the firmware file, replace their image, recompile, and install the "new" firmware. The tools are generally not publically available.
