How do i run my dvd player thru my vcr?

i got a tv, and its kind of an older tv, but not too bad.
i have a dvd player/vcr combo. then a regular vcr.
and also a converter box.
i've made it work in the past, but i cant seem to figure it out agian.
i can make the vcr work, but not the dvd player/vcr combo?

The output of the VCR/DVD combo should be copy protected so you need to connect them directly to the TV.

Just buy a video switch.

Anyone know if their is a Comcast universal remote code for a Philips DVD/VCR combo?

We have Comcast Cable and I am trying to see if it is possible to program the remote to run my Philips DVD/VCR combo player. Their were no similar devices in the code list on the back of the instructions.

Try 1267 or 0679, programmed to the DVD key.
