And everytime I try goin on something that uses wifi it says " A network error has occurred " and every once in a while it will let me stream a movie but when I fast FOWARD it says the same thing please help.!;( and resetting the box doesn't work what should I do thanks.!

Thanks for giving all of that information. Unfortunately, network problems like this are almost impossible to solve without acutally having someone there because there are so many different things that could be causing the problem. My first thought is that you are having some issue with the new modem also acting as a wireless router. Most new AT&T modems also include a wireless router such that your additional 2Wire wireless router is unnecessary. My advice for the quickest, surest solution would be to call AT&T and ask how to enable the wireless feature of your new modem, or else get a wireless router/modem combo from AT&T if you don't already have one. Keep in mind, your 2Wire wireless router may not be compatible with your new modem (I thought 2Wire only produced modem/router combo devices). If that is the case, you can purchase a new wireless router for under $50 that would serve you better than your 2Wire regardless. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions.

Can I connect my network DVD player to my computer?

Tyler

I have a collection of .iso movie files on my hard drive and was wondering if there is any way I could access them on my DVD player through some fancy networking magic. I have a virtual drive that I can mount them to and everything, but it would be nice to watch them on a bigger screen with surround sound. Any help?

Answer
If they are .iso movies you can burn them to plastic and watch them like regular movies on using the DVD player.

The flip side is playing the movies on the computer and connecting the HDMI port on your computer to a TV or projector.

Using a network is the most complicated way to achieve what you're asking.

Good Luck
