How can I set up DVD region 0 on Window Media Player, Windows 7?

Chuck Norr

I am tired of this DVD region bullshit. I have DVD from both France and the U.S. and I don't want to lock my PC on one region like my last laptop.

Piracy protection my a#%!

I want to burn movies, music vids etc. to play in my son's portable DVD Player when we travel? Which burners and what type discs are recommended? I've got tons of media on my laptop and would like to make him some DVDs of his favs. I've got Windows 7 Home Premium on an HP 2000 Notebook with a DVD/CD-ROM(HP DVD RW AD-7740H SATA CD-ROM). Please be detailed as to the type discs you recommend(CD-R, CD+R, DVD-R DVD-RW) and its purpose or recommend sites where all this crap is explained. Mainly I would appreciate pointers on the burners though. Thanks a mil.

there are many good DVD burners, here are my favorite ones:
img burn : http://www.imgburn.com/
cd burner xp: http://cdburnerxp.se
and here are the DVD types explained: http://cdburnerxp.se/help/appendices/disctypes
I prefer DVD-R for storing media :) hopeful that I helped .
