Your Blu-Ray dvd player has to have the netflix as one of the many websites that it can stream from. You will find a sticker on the Blu-Ray dvd player netflix or on the purchase box. Some blu-ray dvd players also stream Youtube videos, Pandora (for music), Vudu (on demand movies). If your Blu-Ray dvd player does not say Netflix then you will not be able to stream any movies from Netflix to your Blu-Ray dvd player.

im trying to set up netflix on my insignia blu ray dvd player and netflix wants my insignia code? were do i find this can any 1 help?

In the set up for the blu ray. The first time you go on Netflix, the blu ray will give you a reg. code. Write it down and go on the cpu to register it. Then you will be allowed to stream movies.
