I have a Philips VCR/DVD player and I want to record the Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony this Friday on Channel 5. I have Dish Network. But I have no idea how to record this special on a blank VHS tape. Please help! Thanks!

This is blowing up my stuff yo, nothing is starting up even on my cell phone, dvd player and wii. Besides realizing how much stuff you can watch this on none of it is working. Anyone know what is going on and how to fix it?
