My laptop is running on Windows 7. I tried to click the Web Help button but I wasn't able to understand the technicalities written there, only that I need an MPEG-2 decoder. HELP!

hat is a Codec? A "Codec" is a technical term for the "compression/decompression" of large downloadble files. Commonly associated with music and movie files transmitted, they tell the player how to decode the movie you want to play. Codec Vary depending on the program that created them.
Chances are you are missing a Codec or two. Do yourself a favor and get VLC Player, it just works and comes with all of it's Codec's.

5. VLC can capture video from internal iSights on Mac OS X 10.5 or later (video only) since version 0.9.0. VLC 1.2 adds enables capturing from all devices supported by QTKit.

How do I burn a dvd with my windows media player?
Q. I have downloaded movies and concerts from a p2p site to my windows media player. It will allow me to download it to a dvd, but when I place the disc in my dvd player it says "Disc error" Can anyone tell me what settings I need to change to my w.m.p. ? Thank you.
