Have you tried using other software to burn besides windows media player? I use CDBurnerXP (it works on windows 7 despite having the xp in the name) and i have never had any problems burning discs although i have had a few problems with media player (not the particular one you are having). Just a suggestion :-)
EDIT:: I am confused...you said that it says no free space..and then you state that it is a brand new dvd/cd (i forgot which one you said) are you trying to burn that program to a disk..or did it say that error message when you tried to install it..if it said that message when you tried to install it then the hard drive that you use as your program directory is full and you will need to free up space to even attempt to install cdburnerxp

Is there any region free player software for me to play on windows 7?
Charlse
When I try to play my DVD, the system always inform me to set a region code, sometimes it still suck to play DVD player software. What about another one
Answer
All the above is good advice - there are other choices too - plus you can get a small free app to do it in windows media player. (Major Geeks may have it)
Try AfterDawn.com, Ask Leo, Gizmo's, or Widows Club for sage advice.
There are also free codec packs which may/may not help you (Klite is biggest, but not the only one)
My windows 7 media player never asks me to set a region code. Sorry, I can't remember how/if I actually tweaked it.
