I want to watch dvds from Europe, but I only have a region 1 dvd player...

Does anyone have any suggestions for a multi-region or region free dvd player?

Is a HD Dvd player compatible with a Regular TV?

Q. I want to buy a multi-region dvd player but the one I like is a HD Dvd player. However, I own a regular non-HD TV. Will the player work with my TV?

Answer
If your tv supports and of the cable connections, then yes. You however will not experience the full HD effect.

Most DVD players have component cable support, with the newer HD models using HDMI and components. If your tv can connect with component or HDMI, then you are good.
