had the "Insignia" Car TV/DVD player that strapped to my headrest but it quit working. It was an expensive one and I thought I had a warranty on it but I dont. I cannot afford to buy another one that expensive. Does anyone know where I can get one that STRAPS to the headrest and its reasonable priced? Also, any links would be GREAT!

What is the Best Dual Screen Car DVD portable player out?

I am going on a very long trip and need a DVD player for the drive. I need it to have 2 screens: the base one to have up next to me to change out the movies and the other to hang off the back of the headrest. I will have to put both of them on the headrests on the return trip, though. I would like the base one to swivel flat against itself and not have to lay open to have little feet kick it. Any ideas would be great!

There are lots of models out there, and usually very cheap.

Might I suggest getting a model that allows for input and output and not strictly for the Car. You'll need a coupler but will be able to use these elsewhere and have the ability to have games systems or two different movies on them, but this will be a question as far as age ( since these will not have a headrest harness per say). You will need to look at good headphones or a RF modulator or mini cable or tape adapter (depending on the car).

If you gave just a little more detail i would feel better about a recommendation.

Is there a "technical" term - because I can't seem to find one online and when I ask if stores the clerks look at me like I'm crazy.
Thanks! We just bought one and because the strap was missing we were able to get it for about $110 [for dual screens] but our kids are so young they drop it more than they watch it. =]

I do not know alot about cars and what's out there but so far we Love the HONDA Pilot but the mileage is pretty bad.. any other ideas?

I have a sylvania dual screen dvd player now, and it's HORRIBLE! I had it 3 months and it has completely stopped working. I would like a flat screen one that can easily attach to the headrest! Anyone have any good ideas?
